The Alliance of Global Volunteer Organizations (AGVO) will proudly represent Ghana at the Civil Society Agenda for COP30, taking place in Belém, Brazil.
Our session, titled “Amazon–Ghana Climate Bridge: Linking Local Knowledge for Global Resilience,” will bring together voices from Africa and South America to explore how local wisdom and community-led action can strengthen climate resilience worldwide.

About the Session
This dialogue aims to bridge local knowledge systems between the Amazon and Ghana, sharing lessons in reforestation, community restoration, and adaptation practices. It highlights how civil society networks can drive inclusive climate solutions, combining indigenous wisdom with modern innovation.
Hosted by Arayara.org in collaboration with AGVO, the event underscores the growing importance of cross-continental cooperation in building a sustainable and resilient planet.
All sessions will feature simultaneous translation in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
